Multithreaded and vector processor (SSE3+) optimized Supports, easy drag and drop image conversion with flexible file naming options and support for multiple file formats including JPEG, TIFF, PNG, JPEG2000 and more. You can continue making image adjustments while other images are converted in the background.
IRIDIENT DEVELOPER FOR MAC MANUAL
Automatic support for LAB and chroma color space curves without any manual color space changes.
IRIDIENT DEVELOPER FOR MAC FULL
Support for two high quality color management engine options including Apple's ColorSync and LittleCMS 2.13.1 which includes full support for the latest ICC v4.3 standard.Ībility to specify camera or image specific input profiles, RGB working space profiles for image adjustments and final image output profiles. Viewing modes include RGB, individual R, G, B channels, all three colors at once, CIE Lightness, CIE Luminance, CIE Chroma (ab), luminosity, hue and saturation. Supports 256, 512 or an extra wide 1024 levels of detail. RAW developer allows you to view and make all image adjustments while viewing a full resolution, fully color managed, 16 bit per channel preview. High quality black and white conversion options including direct access to RAW image color planes, standard RGB channel mixers, perceptual LAB lightness based conversion, luma, desaturation, intensity, custom duotones and other toning options including curves. Super Monochrome (Black And White) Conversion Options Originally developed as a RAW image processing tool, Iridient Developer now supports high quality color editing, monochrome conversions, sharpening and noise reduction on regular images as well! You can now process most any normal image format (JPEG, TIFF, PNG and more) plus a couple high dynamic range (HDR) formats (OpenEXR and Radiance) too. High Quality, High Bit Depth (16 and 32 bits/channel) Image Processing for RAW and non-RAW Image Formats Thanks in part to Dave Coffin's work on the open source RAW decoding program dcraw, Iridient Developer supports RAW image formats from over 620 digital camera models!! Note that although I use some portions of dcraw for the initial loading and decoding of some RAW image data formats, the entire image processing pipeline is completely unique to Iridient Developer including the core RAW processing (demosaicing) algorithms used, all color management, all other exposure, color and monochrome processing adjustments, sharpening, noise reduction, lens corrections and final file format conversion. Iridient Developer gives advanced photographers total control over their digital photographs, yet still provides easy drag and drop batch conversion and access to basic adjustments for the casual user.

There's a lot of detail going on in the screencast too, so I've uploaded it in 1080p and I suggest that you watch it on Vimeo or fullscreen (or on a TV) to see what's going on.Iridient Developer is a powerful RAW image conversion application designed and optimized specifically for Mac OS X. I'm not in any way suggesting that this is the only way to do things, and I'm sure lots of people will have differences in opinion (especially about my "flat" technique). Also, the techniques that I use when processing images are just my personal preferences. I've been not the road this week, and so I've been trying to get this done and uploaded with a combination of remotely logging into my mac pro, and from my laptop using hotel wifi and it's taken me the best part of the week to get it finished and on to Vimep. As I said earlier, this is a long video, and the editing is a bit rushed, so please forgive any choppiness, or rambling I might do.

Once back in Lightroom, I show you how to re-inport your processed files and I also go through some further post processing in Lightroom. I also look at how to develop your images "flat" so as to maximise the data you want to send back to Lightroom for further processing there.

I also explain some of the rest of the options in the software and I walk through processing several files. I start with showing you how to get your selects into Iridient Developer and then I show you some of the settings I use. It's a pretty long walk through, and I've gone into it in some depth. I deliberately stayed away from the"why" in this video and concentrated on the "how". If you're wondering why you might want to do this or what difference it makes then I suggest you check out my previous post on the matter. This is a follow on from my previous post on how to use Iridient Developer with Lightroom to get the best from your Fujifilm X-Series files.
